Cessna Conquest II

The Conquest

Cessna's turboprop answer to the King Air.

Cessna · private

NO PHOTO

A pressurized twin turboprop that gave the King Air real competition in the 1980s — eight seats, 300-knot cruise, 35,000-foot ceiling. Cessna built about 360 before ending production in 1986. Owners love them; mechanics charge accordingly.

Fun fact

The Conquest II was Cessna's flagship piston-to-turboprop conversion — and the only purpose-built turboprop twin Cessna ever produced.

One might be overhead right now.
