Who We Are

Bogey is operated by Bogey Aircraft Radar LLC, a Vermont limited liability company (27 Bruce St, Winooski, VT 05404, USA). In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “Bogey” refer to Bogey Aircraft Radar LLC.

What You’re Agreeing To

By using Bogey, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app. Simple.

What Bogey Is

Bogey identifies aircraft using publicly broadcast ADS-B radio signals. This is the same public data used by Flightradar24, Flightaware, and other aviation apps. This is not surveillance — ADS-B signals are broadcast openly by aircraft for aviation safety.

Data Accuracy

We do our best, but we can’t guarantee that flight data is accurate, complete, or available in real time. Aircraft positions may be delayed. Military aircraft may not appear (many don’t broadcast ADS-B). Don’t use Bogey for anything safety-critical.

Your Account

You’re responsible for your account credentials. Don’t share them. If you post content to the social feed, you grant us the right to display and moderate that content within the app.

Subscriptions

Bogey PRO is a paid subscription managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription through your device’s app store settings.

Community Guidelines

Bogey has a social feed where users post sightings, write captions, and comment. To keep it a place spotters want to be, the following content and behaviors are not allowed:

• Harassment, threats, or hate speech — including content targeting people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
• Sexually explicit, violent, or graphic content.
• Spam, scams, or impersonation — including pretending to be another person, business, or aircraft operator.
• Doxxing or sharing private information about other users or non-public individuals.
• Illegal content or content that promotes illegal activity.
• Content that targets, mocks, or threatens the people on board specific aircraft. Sightings are about the plane, not the passengers.

You can flag content that breaks these guidelines using the report button on any post or comment, or block another user from their profile or any post they appear in. Blocked users disappear from your view; they aren’t notified.

We review reports and remove content that violates these guidelines. Repeat violations can result in account termination. We act on reports within 24 hours of receiving them and reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts at our discretion.

Acceptable Use

Don’t use Bogey to harass people, stalk individuals, interfere with aviation operations, or do anything illegal. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of Bogey after changes means you accept them.

Liability

Bogey is provided “as is.” Bogey Aircraft Radar LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
