The KC-46A Pegasus is the KC-135's replacement, based on the 767 airframe. It can refuel any fixed-wing aircraft and carry passengers or cargo simultaneously. The Air Force's most expensive program that isn't a fighter.
Fun fact
The KC-46 can offload 207,672 lbs of fuel — enough to fill up 3,500 Honda Civics.
How to spot one
Looks like a Boeing 767 with a refueling boom and wing refueling pods. The next-gen tanker.

The Pegasus
Sounds like
767-based — sounds like a widebody airliner. Much quieter than KC-135.
One might be overhead right now.
